    Your STUCK truck/car photos

Share some photos of your vehicle getting stuck, pinned, or in a situation where you had to be pulled out.

    Here are mine:

I was driving through a knee deep mud puddle in a 2WD truck, spinning through it, and making it through to the other side not getting stuck. THEN to drive out of the puddle and drive over a small wash, and getting the front end STUCK on it.

It is in situations like that, that I wish I had gotten 4WD drive. I guarantee you, my next truck will have it. I was pulled out of that mess by a really nice guy in a Jeep Wrangler who refused any sort of payment. I swear I later saw the same Jeep driver broke down beside the road driving to work, and I still feel guilty to this day for not stopping to see if it was him.

I DO have clear corners Andy, but when I go out of town, or just come back from out of town, for legal reasons I put on my OEM corners. I had them on just prior to that photo, and when I went on a trip, I switched them out. That happened after I had gotten out of work early, and didn't have the time to switch them out.

As for 2WD Vs 4WD, I opted not to get the 4WD V8 for the gas and that I HARDLY (and legitimately) go off-road. With a 4WD Tundra, it is required to maintain the 4WD components to drive off-road at least 10 miles a month. I MIGHT do that in six months time. When I put new tires on my truck, I went with all-season versus all-terrain.

Yes, I do, but I also wanted to explain my choice behind a 2WD truck.

I love my little 2wd truck :) It gets good gas milage

4WD is too expensive :) Just go buy a $200 wench out of the JC Whitney catalog and weld that bastered on the front of your 2WD truck and you'll go anywhere, even vertical :D Also spend another $100 and get that wicked ground anchor thing for the wench so you can get out of situations even when there is nothing to tie off to.
