    8000k HID kit shots

Here are some shots I took, not all that great but they give the idea out, the camera lense eliminates most of the blue that the kit really outputs.

yea they don't go that far out cause it's just the bulb but they look nice though and they iluminate the road quite good actually. Later down the road I'll do a retrofit for more light output

The more K = the less light output. It just means more color lol. Doesnt look too bad. If I go HID, which I probably will soon, Ill get around 6000k.

yeah whenever i get the cash to stick HIDs in my mdx retrofitted headlights i'll go somewhere b/w 4300-6k. Yep more Ks less light. More wattage doesn't mean more light either, it's all about LUMENS/CANDLES.

on a side note I can't wait for LOST to start again.

6000k aren't bad but not blue enough for me, this 8000k is pretty bright (or so people tell me lol) and has more of a hint of blue then white so it's just what I was looking for.

Looks good, but in my area those bright intense blue lights are almost on the verge of being banned. Also, blue light REDUCES your visibility in the rain and high humidity situations where there is a vapor to the air. I like my plain-jane Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. They aren't as "yellow" and I get the flash of "your brights are on" from cars all the time at night.

gotta love those HID's lol. I love my 6000k. But for 8th gen rollas it sucks to get HID. One bulb doing high and low beam sucks.... Even with Bixenon bulbs its still not the same for high beams. On the 9th gen is a diff story...
Put 5-6k HID bulbs for low, put silverstars for high beams.
Do a mod that will enable the fogs to be on at the same time as high beams and put 5-6k HID for fogs as well and its gonna be like sunlight when you drive around with high beams.....

ps it might be the pics but my HID's seem to spread more of a wider angle but i got a 8th gen so idk....

and my 6k bulbs are pretty blue..... i would have gotten 5k if i knew how blue they were
