    What was your first car?

What was your first car? What other memorable vehicles have you've owned?

Mine was a 1988 Ford Taurus that my parents gave me at 19. Later, I traded that car for a showroom-floor-new 2000 Chevy Metro. That car would end up getting totalled with about 4000 miles on it. Next, after the insurance money came in, I ended up with a 2001 S-10. That, was the biggest POS I've ever owned. Finally, after a long time, I was able to get my current truck, a 2003 Toyota Tundra. Never a problem, and I can trust in on long trips. I took it on a vacation from Tucson, AZ up to Grand Canyon and around most of Northern Arizona. With that trip I averaged 18.5 MPG, which is pretty good for a V8 truck.

I also drive, at times, my Mom's 1998 Toyota Camry which sadly needs a paintjob due to being out in the intense Arizona sun.

2001 Toyota Corolla LE. Im only 17 so eh. Car used to belong to my mom. I took it and she got a 2005 Camry LE. We are in the process of converting it into an SE. Just need some fogs now and we are done. Got some aftermarket rims but they look somewhat close to the SE rims.

1976 Ford Courier Truck with rusted out floorboards, 280k miles on it and it could barely do 60mph in 4th gear floored! (it was a 4 speed). Oh yeah and you could only hear the radio over the gear box wine up to like 40mph :D

Why do you think I'm at this site? My first car was and currently is a 1994 Toyota Corolla. Before I had a car of my own I used to borrow my mom's C-Class, which was pretty damn cool because I was in high school at the time.

    first car

I've had soo many i've lossed count:)

First ride was a 1994 Toyota Rolla Dx Power window door locks loaded except for cruise.
I modded the hell on that car I added oversized Kmc wheel's and an aftermarket alarm (viper) and of coarse the Tint JOb . I ALSO UPDATED THE REAR END PLASTIC TO A THE NEWER STYLE ROLLA . THE DAY I SOLD HER SUCKED IT WAS A KILLER BUT I KNOW IT WENT TO A GOOD HOME. That Rolla also has a transmission problem that I could never resolve with the Dealership intill I sold it to the guy who purchased it. I informed the guy who purchased My car that the rolla will have a warrent if you call me about the overall problems since the warrent was Not transferable. well he had some issue I had on the Transmission vibes coming from the interior panels and The dealership finally replaced the car Transmission and noted a problem and I drove it and was unset how that replacement made a huge different on the car being quiet reason why I sold this car in the first place.

black 1991 Mazda 626. Had big stand up home speakers in the trunk cuz I couldnt afford subs, red pulsating neon, and the ever so classic dice. And I think I got the idea that I wanted to be able to be heard even tho my windows were rolled up so I put two all weather tweeters under the car. At the time, it was an excellent idea. Then I blew the tranmission. Replaced it with an oversized one. Then I was involved in a T-bone accident. Totalled the car so then I got my Corolla (which I dont even have that anymore cuz I have my Civic now). The coolest thing about my 626 was the automatic air vents. When you pressed a button, they automatically began to swivl side to side from passenger to driver.

1986 Toyota Wonderwagon (van).. It had the 6pk IceCooler in the front. It rocked. I put about 15 speakers in it and my dad didn't care what i did to it. Got the car doing at least 120 one day and that was kinda scary.

First car was a "repo'd" 1988 mecury grand marquis. Repo'd meaning my dad sold it to the "Good Christian" people down the street on payments. They ran it through a ditch, and a fence, and never made more than a couple payments......so my dad repo'd it and gave it to me.

    '73 Ford Pinto.

Bought it June '74 when I was 16. The car had 13k miles and the price was $1,999. The loan worked out to $385 down and payments were $61.10 per month for 3 years. My dad had to co-sign the loan but I made the payments.

The Pinto had a 2.0L SOHC, did 0-60 in about 5 minutes (LOL), and got 13-23 mpg, which was great gas mileage back then! ;)

1974 Dodge Monoco - Think "Blue's Mobile" from the movie Blues Brothers (John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd), but delete the black and while paint and replace with just about every kind of primer color available. Was a piece, nearly 18' long, 5000+ lbs - but with a 1971 440 Wedge motor swapped in there, no cats, regular gas - hauled ass all day long. Like most of the MOPAR products at that time - the B-series engine block outlived the car (body on frame, all body mounting points rusted out).

1989 BMW 735i, It was my mom's car and she was getting ready to get a new one, so my Dad spent alot of money fixing a couple things that were wrong with it so I could have it in perfect condition. A week later I was rear-ended by some goober so hard that it totaled the car. Got a '94 Jetta with the insurance money - not quite the same car:sad:
