    that was because it went throught my aunt and then mom, so no care for the poor car there. Car started getting love when I had it and well if u think about it since it was paid off I could've had it much better if I hadn't sell it with how much I earn now.

    yes and no. Didn't do the raising on purpose to begin with. The holes in the hood were stripped and i also tried re-tapping them but that was no good. So i had to weld on some nuts there. so i thought while i was at it i'll slap a few washers there to let some heat from the exhaust as well. as we all know, heat rises, so having an outlet for the exhaust through the hood is pretty ideal.

    He sold that car almost 2yrs ago and now owns a a 2ZZ powered MR-S. He never swapped the 1ZZ out of his corolla.

    you have no idea how much i reminisce putting the corolla together. the final product was amazing. the car only weighed 2300lbs and i did almost nothing to get rid of the weight.

    ...here we go i'm reminiscing about it again :p

    are we talking about ride height or the gap in the hood?
