    What's next for my AE101?

    Whats up everyone,

It's been quite awhile since I've been here. I know that I don't ask much because I really know what to do to my car. I can be a big help for all of you for all AE101 corolla an newer models.

My car style is still a sleeper but it got some bad spots (I have no pics yet, but I will). It's on its stock form with 96-97 tails w/ gray garnish and TRD fuel cap. My recent mods is Tein S.tech springs and Weapon-r secret weapon intake. Those mods feel great and like you said sxlostv1, "no camber kit needed". I also have to get a new tranny since my diff is bad although it shift good still. I also got parts to get rid of.

The main thing is that since my car is strictly going to be jdm, I want the real things. Want parts like koito h-4 black headlamps, tails, SE Limited front bumper w/ front lip, gt rear bumper, 94-95 spec 4A-GE 20v silvertop w/ 5 speed and lsd option and hopefully push 250+ N/A power, any jdm 15 or 16 inch wheels w/ yokohama/advan tires, and more.

I was wondering if theres any sources that sells them for a reasonable price. It also depends because I may go to school for auto design and reside with my uncles in SoCal or if i find one locally. Please let "G" know, I'll be greatly appreciated.

ye even with a bored 4age blacktop with monster cams you would still need a 12k redline to make 250 hp NA. try building an engine for those kinds of revs - you'd need all-custom parts from the top down, so youre talking 10k just in engine work

The tranny is not dead, the differential has alot of play or teeth are worn. That's why it's makin' noises like if it was the cv axles. I've search unless jspexae102 knows, and thats not the bumper I wanted.

    My ears are burning :D
I would upgrade to a differential of the Limited Slip variety.

As for the bumper I was selling, i'm still selling.. post on 3 fourms with nothing but flakers. I am also going to switch to the SE limited front.. but will be getting a EDM rear and doing a license plate relocation. but shhh.. noone is supposed to know yet.

I want that SE bumper too. I've search for a TRD unit and they want 788 dollars for it. It's gonna take time for me since I got some education to do. If you all didn't know I'm selling a few things listed on my cardomain. The only real JDM parts I got is TRD radiator cap, fuel cap cover, leather shift knob, 2 point strut brace, and Tein s.tech springs... mainly TRD accesories.

Jspex, that's true about some people who does not want to spend much on their cars especially the bumper you're selling. They don't realize that it cost you more money to import it to your place. I have to deal with it the same way if I want something from japan (witch I already did).

:D knock, knock sxlostv1 I'm going back to cali soon and if I do, I'll see you there and maybe reside in Santa Ana. Hows your D2 coilovers feel so far? Does anyone have any direct sorce to get some JDM parts beside ebay?

well, as confirmed I'm going to enroll in UTI in Rancho Cucamonga, California and stay in Santa Ana. Now back to the main question...does anyone know to get JDM parts besides ebay? I want the real thing and which lsd is better as I shown to you guys?

The helical is more ideal for street car and requires less maintence than a mechanical "clutch" type. I have a importer for JDM parts in norcal, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding importers in socal.
