    man people are just......

freakin stupid man. So I'm coming back home from work and well as you all know fast and the furious tokyo drift is out and just as I expected there were Civics out trying to "drift" right by bowles crossing which is a theater that's like 2 mins away from my house and wow let me tell you that I was just blown away..... I mean does it really get to this point of ignorance?..... God help us all.....

this is how i feel about the movie... i think this is how you guys look at the movie too... i always say that im not gonna see the movie... i despise it... i hate it cuz it corrupts the automotive tuning culture... but... i know, in the end, im gonna end up seeing it just cuz of curiosity... and if i do, im not gonna attempt any stunts in the parking lot... im smarter than that...

No! We want the cops to focus on street-racing...and leave us bikers to our twisties! :D

Ontopic of the movie...I have no desire to see it. I may watch it for kicks...when it comes out on HBO...and there's nothing better to watch. But I refuse to go feed something that really just demeans the entire tuning scene like Red said. It's stupid...kids don't have any idea what they are doing...they just think to drift you haul ass into a corner and jack the e-brake. Well...then all of a sudden they realize their e-brake doesn't work...and they curb it. Or they are going way too fast anyways and jack the thing completely around.

Any sort of driving above your "average" driver...is a right. Not a priviledge. And everybody and their mother thinks they have the right to go be dumb-asses.

    Same here.

I kinda had a feeling kids were going to try what they saw in the movies, lucky for me the movie parking lot is a hot spot for street racers to meet so there are already cops waiting there for them :)

I've never been able to drift on FWD unless I was in the snow (which btw is fun as hell in open parking lots) so idk :p

Just for the record...I've done some "drifting" in the Tundra in snowy parking lots too. It is a lot of fun. But there isn't quite anything like riding with VoRTeX around the corner from 100th onto Simms. It's a 25 mph right-hand corner...he does get a full side drift...at...about...80? ...85 maybe? I've never been good at getting FWD sideways either. (Probably all the time I spent doing it with rear.)

I just had a riced out Civic try sliding into the parking lot where the car wash was at, almost hit me and my car and then tried to tell me how to mod my car to drift. The little kid had to be at least 17 I had to tell him that I was working on cars while he was still sucking on his mothers titties and I dont need him to tell me how to modded a car or make one drift.

    Freaking movies are annoying.

Yeah, but sliding in the dirt and on the pavement are drastically different things. I was thinking more along the lines of "Pavement" but I should have been more specific in my first reply :) I just know that you dont want power to your front tires to drift correctly on pavement. I have even heard of people taking Audi S4's and converting them to RWD just to drift them.
