yeah, if you need a how-to from a forum about removing a motor and tranny you are screwed, haha... every car is different and usually you need someone there with some experience or else things can get messy.

I don't want to sound like a downer here...but to put it bluntly. It sucks. It took...*counts on his fingers* 6 of us...roughly 15 hours to pull VoRTeX's motor out...swap everything over...and put it back in. Getting the thing to line up to the rear motor mount was a 2 hour process in and of itself.

It's not as hard as you'd think. Just take down the entire suspension supports and crossmembers on the front. Take off all the hoses and sensor wires, then slowly drop the assembly after unbolting all the mounts. Ok maybe its a bit harder if you've done it the first time, but it only took me 2 hours.

    Yes. Replacing a 1.8 Non-VVT-i @ 100k miles, with a 1.8 Non-VVT-i @ 10k miles.

Swapping engines...is not an hour process. If you've never done it before...expect it to take a couple days if not more. Also make sure you know exactly where everything goes for when you put it back together. :)

I'm going to have to pull it from the top out because i don't have access to a lift or anything to drop it down. I'm hoping that this won't be too bad, i plan on getting a factory manual and everything, tagging, and going crazy so i knwo what came from where.
