anything from recaro or bride is fine. Just stay away from sparco, they use bullshit material for their seats.

I worry about the safety of those noname seats sometimes. They usually have no crash testing done to them whatsoever.

there supposedly recaro seats but before the name gets put on them, there from a company who makes them and sells them to recaro.
when recaro wants a new design these people custom make the seat for them and recaro puts the name on them....

I'm finding that hard to believe because Recaro designs and manufacture all their seats, including OEM seats for the auto and aeronautic manufacturers in-house.

They are comfy too. You can find them for around $150 each on eBay. That is where I got them.

They don't have a brand on them :) And they are great quality and very comfortable for every day driving. However they do hug your shoulders just a little tight if you are a broad dude like myself. I picked them up off eBay for $300 a pair. They even come with sliding brackets but you need to weld your own adapter to get them in to the car and that can be tricky.

eBay has tons of sellers that are selling 4 way harnesses. They usually attach to the floor behind the seat and then to the sides of the seats. But you can install them a zillion different ways and I have no clue which is the best so you may want to ask someone else. I chose not to do the 4 point harnesses because I don't want to draw any more attention then I already do from the COPS. They are really going to start picking on me if they see those 4 point straps because that is basically saying "I'm a race car" :) In my opinion anyways.

Being from an off-road racing background I have learned that you can't skimp out on seats and harnesses or you will wind up with a broken back or worse, although I don't think any of the cars on this site see the hard hits and bumps that I am used to, but this site, http://www.subesports.com/home/ has a lot of higher end seats and harnesses, if anyone decides to go that route.

Whatever you dont bolt the harness to the floor behind you, bolt it -behind the rear seats.

Anything is better then the OE seats in the Corolla. I actually snapped the back clean off my seat accelerating, that is why I got new seats. The new ones seem much more stiff under acceleration. The other seats basically had potmetal holding them togather. But I would not attach the harnesses to the seat, I would always attach them to the floor or support member.
