They will both work with Ground Control's... but with the coilovers, i'd go with the Tokico HP's...

The Tokicos are stiff, though. I have them on my '99 with S-techs and I cringe everytime I go over a bump.

The KYB GR-2's are closer to an OEM spec, they are sort of the middle ground between OEM and Tokico HP's... if you plan on going low with the coilovers though, i'd go with the Tokico's, but they both have a lifetime warranty, so even if the coilovers wear outt he KYB's... it's covered, hehe...

The Tokicos I had with Ground Controls blew out prematurely even though I didn't have that bad of a drop, but my KYBs worked fine. In fact, I'm still using them.

yeah, seems lots of people have had premature failures with the Tokico's. I never had a problem with my KYB's. I loved my setup.:D

hey Altilio...keep your stock struts(if they're not blown), once you swap them out - i want them. also, keep the strut boxes, if you don't mind...i'll be more than happy to drive down there and get everything. :)

My stock suspension is shot, I really need to find some good struts. I'm looking for something that is quite a bit stiffer then stock and very compatible with H&R springs that are 1.5inch drop. What would you guys recommend?

Nope - I lost one too. Replaced free under warranty, though - just had to pay shipping.
