    Have spoiler on you car?

Recently I installed a TRD lip spoiler on my 01 and went to highway to have a test drive. I was so disappointed. :( I could really felt the drag (don't know about down force) of the spoiler created. It kept dragging my car behind after around 110km/h+. Couldn't really go any faster unless I rev it to 3000rpm+ (Used to be able to go at around 120km/h @ 2500rpm)
Anyone has similar problem after installed a spoiler, or I'm just dreaming things?

damn that bc bud must be good stuff... hehe

i dunno, the trd lip is so tiny i don't see it really effecting a car. maybe someone else could shed light on this as i don't really know.

the only thing i always made a comment about when someone mentioned drag and slow down when putting a spoiler on their car was the fact that it *is* after all named a "spoiler" hehe

I think you are dreaming. I've had mine up to 160km/h with the spoiler and it felt the same as normal.
mine always revs to 3K to go freeway speeds

yeah, it's in your head man, or something else is up w/ your car. The lip is so small, it makes no difference.

i think, when you decided to test drive the car, you were looking for drag.

I know the lip is just soooo small that shouldn't creat any drag at all, I hope I'm just dreaming too.
I just clean my air filter and change back to my summer rim. Will do the test drive again over the weekend and see.

Are your summer rims heavier or lighter than the rims you had one before?

i have one of those touring spoilers on my car and i felt a little difference not much though. i'm sure like everyone else said a lip spoiler shouldn't do much.

    No guys, he is correct.

When I had my TRD spoiler on my rolla, you could really notice the drag. Especially around 180mph. :p

If my lip spoiler created that much drag it would have ripped off by now.
