What is everyone's take on his situation....the only man convicted in correlation with the 9/11 attacks was sentenced to life in prison....i think it was probably the best sentence for him since the death penalty wouldve just been a delay of what he wants...now, he can wear away in a slow painful death...

I feel the same - I didn't think the death penalty was a good choice for this particular case since it would just give him what he wanted, martyrdom --- letting him rot to death in a prison as a criminal is just fine by me.

I dont think he played such a large part as he wants people to believe.

But life is fine with me. He'll die in prison, a long time from now. If he doesnt get killed in the process, which is pretty likely.

Even if he WAS put to death, he wouldnt actually be "put to death" for years and years and years. 20+ years at least. And I dont think he really deserves the death penalty....he wasnt directly involved in any of the planning.....he says he was, but I dont think he was. He strives on getting the attention.
