looks like just more distractions to make you crash. all these integrated navs, advanced stereos, seat heaters, etc really make the car unsafe IMO

It will take some getting used to, I'm sure. Many cars have voice controls now to deal with that issue, but even still, I see see where you're coming from.

I really like how they integrated the nav controls on a ledge in front of the screen, that way (1) it's sort of like a keyboard and you can navigate it by touch easier and (2) It doesn't force you to have a column mounted shifter (and thus, an auto) like BMW's i-Drive.

i'm pretty sure a nav system would be safer than driving with one hand and clutching a mapquest printout in the other.. especially at night, its not pleasent, i know.

    I just test drove a 2006 G35 sedan....Im considering one..may have to wait now

I dont see how this will be anymore of a distraction than any aftermarket stuff.
How could heated seats be a distraction????

VW came out with something a few years ago that was essentially a hard drive....its actually kinda safer, cuz you wont have to swap out cds over and over again.

Yes, but I am not at all crazy about all these extra goodies. I'm sure its good for some people, but I really enjoy Just the basics in a car. I just don't see these extra goodies holding up in the future, and it looks like a lot of extra things that will go wrong and need to be repaired. I'm too young, I know, and without kids, but I really enjoy, at most, an attachable mp3 player and nothing else. I don't even like subwoofers anymore :dj:

or back seats, just more to keep clean. and more to reduce gas mileage.

I'd tend to agree with Prodigy and CB. I'm more than content with the bare essentials.

The hard drive is a great idea, though.

Yea I really wouldn't mind a HD either, changing CD's really is a bit of a distraction.
