    I really enjoyed the movie.......I enjoyed the book more though!

    The video tape that the dudes wife sent him was the best part

    i personally do not like the movie .........didn't seem like a lot of action and they didn't even shot that often either...and i bought the movie..i think it was a waste of my money.

    I really enjoyed the movie, seems to be a very accurate portrayal of what life in the army during desert shield/storm would have really been like... deals with more than just the *killing* part of being in the army, more with the psychological and family-wise impacts...

    Only a waste because you were expecting a war movie, and it wasnt a war/battle movie. It mirrors his book pretty well.

    I personally havent seen the movie...but i work with a lady whose son just got back from Vietnam...he said its inaccurate and unexciting for a war movie...just like others on here have said, he also said there wasnt enough action...

    yeah, i was expecting more action into it, but i guess it wasn't that kind of movie...wished that i knew about that first before buying it.
