    Beth is back!

She was in the shop for tires, some tune-up, a new chain and a few other things. But, it's officially time. Beth will be back on the road...terrorizing Cobra's, Corvette's and STi's tomorrow morning.

    :D :D

Its no more weird than naming a car......both are inanimate objects, so naming one over the other shouldnt be any different....lol

    I believe an R1 is a 1.0 liter bike, so he's going from a (yzf-600)600 to a (yzf-R1)1000

man it was good to hear that thing roar again haha, I liked that ZX6-R Ninja that Vickory had for grabs for $4,500 and with only 2600 miles.... I would go for one of those used Raven R6's but a lil expensive for me right now and well I guess according to Andy is not a begginers bike so yea :(

    Nope...an R6 is not for a beginning rider. The R6 is geared towards riders with experience...who don't want the excessive power of a litre bike. I've had guys tell me they want a 600RR Honda...or a ZX-6RR, the R6...or a GSX-R 750.

No...No...No...and No. Used bikes. F4i's, Thundercats (YZF 600R's like mine)

And don't be like me...get your endorsement before you start riding.

Everyday more and more I want a bike. I'd be kinda apprehensive when buying one, though. I wouldn't know if I was getting screwed on the price. Would the NADA or KBB for motorcycles be a good reference?

Not sure, I think about prices like this,

"A brand new 2006 R1 (1000cc) goes for around $12000. (Give or take.) A brand new YZF-600R just like mine retails for around $7300. I bump prices down from there based upon year and mileage.

IE....$4000 for an '01 GSX-R 600 with 12,000 miles seems about right to me.

I almost bought this 00' 600 Gixxer last summer from a buddy of Deebs, he was asking $4,000 and the bike had 8k miles, had a bunch of extras too
