How often do you wash yousr car.

How often do you was your car and what do you use.

In my case, in the summer I wash it at least 2 times a week and use that Eagle Wax as you dry. But I do put at least one good coat of Meguiers 3 times a year. In the winter I wash it like once a month.

    How about you

Used to be once a week, but with my busy schedule its whenever I have time, I use Meguires all the way. Actually I just cleaned my car inside and out yesterday, Engine is clean, interior is clean, waxed the exterior, and polish everything that is chrome.

twice a week unless its snowing, I use auto magic soap, body shine, tire dressing, and sprayaway window wash foam, as for waxing once a month (not lately) I use prestone show wax, and twice a year I have my buddy matt do a full buff and paint seal, just to be safe... :)

hmm normally once a week or once a week and a half. Too long between washes, really. I use the Mr. Clean deal because I HATE towel-drying my car. Such a pain.

Well I took my dog for a ride in the car the other night and put a blanket down in the backseat for him. I go inside work to grab my wallet, come out and he's in the driver's seat and my roommate is laughing. :meh:

Hence I need to vaccum the CRAP out of my car today... :)

Just to give you an idea. This is my dog...[big one]

when i cared, i'd wash it once every other week(because carwashes get pricey, and i can't wash my car at my parents' place).

now that i've pretty much stopped caring, i've gotten two car washes since the beginning of winter.

Sometimes once a week during spring/summer....other times once a month. All depends on my schedule and if I have the time.
In the winter, I dont let salt sit on my finish for too long though, even if its a quick quick rinse off.
I have a silver car, so even a dirty silver car doesnt look too dirty.

I don't get it. Why not? The filter just removes the sediment that causes water spots anyway.

Whatever they put in that makes it dry without a chamois also has a negative side effect on the finish. I don't know how harsh it actually is, maybe not even that noticeable.

Sorry if I was unclear: the soap provided is very harsh, I've read a couple complaints on Autopia about stripped wax. It definately loses some shine when I would use it. I'm pretty sure you can use a different soap if you want.

I didn't conduct laboratory tests, this is good enough for me http://autopia.org/forum/showthread.php?p=485529&highlight=autodry finish#post485529

IMO, and take this with a grain of salt, this is just subjective opinion, the MrClean AutoDry CarWash just seems too good to be true. Like a get-rich-quick scheme or a diet pill.
