well at a starting price of 1695 i'd build a low boost turbo set up and it would look a hell of a lot better.

hehe you wouldn't build a low boost setup for a corolla for 1700... lol

*BARE* minimum would be closer to around 2250-2750. If you *were* able to boost it for any cheaper, you'd end up with a blown motor.

Of anybody on this board who knows how to build a turbo set-up...I believe Vortex is one of the top...I'm pretty sure he knows what he's talking about. And by pretty sure...I mean...positive. :D

I could get a setup running for 1700 with the emanage....

however youll have to weld the pipes yourself.... install it yourself... do everything yourself

have a boost regulator like those bolt junk things and a refurbished turbo...

while possible id spend the extra cash and do it ritght....

Actually now that I think about it tuning would probably bring you over the top cuz tuning will be at least 300... emanage and all of that is 600...

doesnt leave too much... depends though

Like i said...if you know what you are doing.
Half the members in this board dont know where the oil filter in their cars is...
and yes you can build a turbo by yourself for less than 1700

man that thing only runs for 15 seconds at a time. i dont really want to spend 1700+fuel management for essentially a large shot nitrous kit...

if i get FI i want it to be on all the time!

too heavy, hurts performance.. 15sec at a time? might as well run nitrous.

Yeah, sounds like a $1600+, heavy nitrous system to me.
