My Rollas on hold......

Well haven't been on much lately, had an accident last weekend. My car is in the shop waiting for my sorry *** insurance to get on the ball so the shop could start working on it. I know that im gonna get asked how it happened so heres the story, I was driving home from physical training last wednesday I was just about to cross an intersection when the vehicle in front of me slammed on his brakes. well i was gonna go around on his left cause i had room, but than i saw the mp (military police) and jerked the wheel right a lil and f*@$ed up my right fender my hood, headlight, the part that the fender goes on is tore up as well, sorry dont know what its called. I have one pic on my phone I'll post it here shortly.

Why did you jerk the wheel to right and not avoid the accident after seeing military police?

!!! How did that open up your fender like that - was it a truck or something? Sorry to hear about the car - hopefuuly they will get you patched up and on the road again. Hopefully it didn't mess up your wheels - unusual set there, looks like 18" wheel? Lexani?

Ouch that sucks man, hope you didnt mess up the rims man. Was the mp in the lane that you where trying to stop on

The mps were to the front of me so to avoid hitting them i jerked my wheel.

i ran into a ford bronco. my wheels are fine the tire got a gash in it, thats about it.

yeah exactly, if it wasnt for them running the light the accident wouldnt have ever happened. but sh*t happens shes in the shop getting worked on now so hopefully i'll get her back at the end of the week.

Oooookkkk! I see it now. The way I read it, it sounded like the patrol was sitting on the side of the road and you didn't want him to see you swerving around the car.

That is definately suck-tacular. I've always hated being away from my own ride, even while in the body shop getting repaired...she'll be back on the road in no-time!

What happened was since our whole base just got from iraq theres been alot of traffic in the mornings leaving from physical training. I switched lanes just about when i was coming to an intersection , next thing i know is the vehicle in front of me slams on his breaks (we had the green light) I swerved left so i wouldnt run into the back of him but than the mp's were crossing the intersection so they were where i was trying to go so i jerked the wheel a lil and just barely hit the vehicle in front of me. I put the blame on the MP's cause i dont remember hearing their sirens or them flashing their lights. I think they just ran the light to run it. And yes it really sucks not having a car its almost been a month now and thats the only vehicle i own. I've been bumming rides all month it really sucks.

Cops here in my county do that...ALL the time. They'll pull up to a light...stop for a second...flip their lights on (no siren), drive through the red light...flip everything off and drive away.
I have alot of respect for cops and what they do...but they need to stop blatently running lights like that.
