the HHR was designed by part of the team that designed the PT Cruiser.

you can all bash GM all you want, but i wouldn't own a truck made by anyone OTHER than Toyota or GM.

Oh geeze... dont get me started ont eh PT Cruiser types from GM. They are the ugliest things on the road next to that Aztec thing.

As for my tune, never got it. It was supposed to happen 2 weekends ago and the Friday before I had a tire give out on me. The sidewall was ruined and no shops in LA sell my Nitto's so I had to wait for one to come in the mail. Ended up cancelling and havent had the time to reschedule with the guy. I was so pissed off...

is that a joke post, haha?? That SRT8 would eat an escalade alive... period. 400+hp, all wheel drive, 0-60 in less than 5 seconds. Most modded Mustangs wouldnt even put up a good race let alone a 4000+lb luxury SUV.

Youre right....the escalade is about 700 pounds heavier than the 4800 pound SRT-8...which would give it a disadvantage, even though it only has 10 less hp, and 7 more ft torque than the SRT-8.

Escalade comes in at 403 hp, 417 ft torque, in a 6.2 liter V8.
SRT-8 comes in at 415hp, 410 ft torque, 6.1 liter

But no, it would not eat it alive. 0-60 time is only 1 second faster.

I will admit that the new GM full size SUVs are damn good looking trucks. On the other hand, the Cobalt SS has consistently ranked lower in magazine comparison tests than it's rivals, the SRT-4, RSX, GTI, tC, Celica GTS and XRS Toyotas, etc...

The Cobalt is a good step in the right direction for Chevy, but I don't consider it a real contender yet.

haha, I didnt know the numbers on the new escalade... the SRT8 is AWD and designed with performance in mind, the escalade is designed for luxury first. Is the Escalade AWD?
