Okay, here's the latest update. Basically my original plan was to have the donor car come down, and I would install a kit on his car for free (for just the cost of the parts) which is about $2500 - $3000. However, it's going to take me 2-3 weeks to get the kit just perfect, and I can't work for three weeks with no pay, as I'm sure you can all understand. (Especially with the whole disaster in moving down here). And things are a lot different now when I'm not working a seperate full-time job and doing this on the side. So now what I'm looking for is someone who wants a turbo kit built and installed on their car and will pay for the whole job, at a discounted rate. I will do the whole job, all parts and labor, tuned and out the door, for $4900.

    Any takers?

I'd say 180 is the limit for safe, 200-225 if you want to push it

    Hey Doc,

Are you going to do the turbo kit on the side or thru your new company?

$4900 is a steal, my turbo cost me more then that if you add up all the parts and labor.

    Turbo Kit : $2500
Turbo Installation : $800 (lucky for me TurboKits.com paid for it, took massive mods and fab to get it working)
    New Engine : $900
    Install New Engine : $500
Replacement parts that blew with the engine : $500
New Modified Oil Pan : $250
Tow Truck Service : ~$200 (3 seperate tows)

So my turbo cost me about $5650 and the quality of the kit sucks donkey nuts. If I could do it all over again I probably would mail my damn car to Doc :)

That's for a custom turbo kit built and installed into the car. For the kit alone, once it's complete, will be more like $3500.

kudkud, not sure yet, these guys are real flexible. Probably a mix of both.
