They say not to raise your wipers up when its snow....only when its ice, which prevents them from icing to the windshield...the weight of the snow can bend them.

We have 14 inches here in New Market, east of Frederick

14 inches measured from the table on my backporch. My dad is in Florida right now playing golf! Lucky bastard. My sis had to work, and I didn't trust her to drive in any kind of snow so I ended up at home all weekend with my family. It was weird hanging around while everyone else had to shovel, since my doc says I cant lift even semi-heavy stuff.

It definately felt stupid driving 20MPH with a line of like 8 SUV's behind me. I really wish stock tires on Civics/Rolla's weren't such complete junk.

Switch to the Pep-Boys Futura 775's man, they are great in the snow, and great in the wet. I was today and had no prob driving around even with my car lowered. Unfortuantly in doing that I packed snow up in the suspension and to jack the car up and clean it out, YAY!!!

Nah. Im intentionally trying NOT to have to change these tires, since I have 18 months left on the lease and will have the RS-11's on for most of that time. I'll just deal with having utterly craptastic tires for one more winter. I had Futura's on the Corolla and they did OK in the snow. Not 775's though.

And yeah, I know how you feel being lowered and having to clean out all the snow/salt/dirt. I remember having to do that on the corolla, and having to dig packed snow out of the front bumper opening. It really sucks when you're out in the garage freezing your *** off.
