    Question about exhaust setup

So I'm finally going to deal with headers and exhaust for my 9thgen. I'm almost positive I'm going with JP headers, but for the rest of the exhaust what do yall recommend?

I was looking at the borla exhaust which for the money wasn't all that bad. Or do you think its just as effective to have a custom one made?

Yeah, I know generally how to put them in, but I'm so nervous that I would muck things up that I just wanna shop to do it...only problem is the shops here want 300+ for the install which to me is almost worth messing it up on my own for that amount.

just remember to tighten everything down and you'll be fine... and in a few weeks check the fitment and tightness of everything again... but yeah it is always best to have somebody there with you who has done it before... its not all that hard but getting the springs back on the strut and getting everything tightend down properly is about the hardest part... except maby the 2 bolts that hold the front strut to the back of the break/steering assembly those are a bitch it took 2 people holding the car on one side to keep it from rocking and 2 on the breaker bar to break them loose... hummm maby a qualified shop would be best

I think he was talking about spring installation.

A couple friends and I installed my springs/struts (well, mostly them..lol) -- took all afternoon, but we weren't exactly in a hurry..and used all hand tools.

Was it your first time? :p

I couldn't imagine an xB could have many tight bolts or rust..we had to break a wheel off my brake drum..took a 6'3"-ish 200+lb guy to do it, too..heh

I'll be lifting my truck shortly, and I don't expect that to take long at all.
