hell yea dude, my HID kit should be arriving next week and man I can't wait for it. As for future mods to the car they'll have to wait about another 2 months. I already spent almost like $500 within the past 3 weeks and that's a lot of money for me on parts but I'm happy with the parts though. Hopefully wheels and a new set of tokico struts will come next :).... and of course hopefully boost sometime in the future

If I can ever afford it, the truck is getting the Toytech 3 inch lift...some 33" tires and I can convert my ghei struts in the front to a pair of Bilstein 5100 coilovers.

haha no way. My mom wouldn't have a problem with me staying either, the whole conflict right now is with my stepdad. His parents threw him out of the house when he turned 18 so he thinks he must do the same with me, but little did he know we come from different cultures but then again my mom gives in to whatever he says easily so well no point in arguing with them either so if she's happier with his messed up rules and thinking that he can play God then be it man, I'm gonna have to move out sooner or later......

Yes Andy I know I'll be kissing it goodbye but I'd rather live independently and somewhat relaxed since I won't be having to come home from work tired as hell to listen to them fight all damn night long. I know there will be problems and stress when I move out based on bills and what not but I'm just sick of the childish situation my mom is living with this dude and I love her and all but I'm tired of it, that's one trip she's gonna have to take herself cause she already fucked up twice on the same thing and it affected my life and my siblings as well.

Then you should stop modding now, sell the mods that you currently have, and start saving up some money man. You should have AT LEAST 2-3k saved up (kinda on the low end in my opinion), in addition to whatever it will cost to get your residence in order (security deposit, first months payment, all utility start up fees, insurance premiums, few hundred for for your first food run, furniture, etc).

first house...would go for about $300k here due to it being multi-level...second house...probably about $750K but also depends on location and viewing options...plus bedroom number, bath numbers, and lot size are unknown on the second so that house considering it has a large lot can go for over $1 mil....so those figures are ballpark range....my brothers old condo was going for nearly $200K and it was 2bdrm, 2 bath, half kitchen/half dining with the optional 1 car garage which was rented....not included.....
in co....easily over $1.3 mill...I'll have to get the pics of the house my father worked on that was worth $1.5 million...if not more...it wasn't less....

please also note that I do not know the cost of living in other states, all I know is that I was told the cost of living in colorado is ridiculous and if you don't make at least $70k/yr, you aren't living in a house like that....

I put that one up over the 2 million mark. There's a house not half that size going for 1.3, and it's not nearly as sweet at that house.

Damir: Moving out is always fun...but you are right...the stress of not living with your parents, is suddenly the stress of not having your parents there to help you. I eat like crap, and I can still go dump $150-200 every two weeks in food. I use almost bare minimum gas, water and sewage...and that bill alone is nearly $60 a month.

We're not trying to tell you not to move out...but let me tell you, I'm in the situation I am now because I wasn't prepared for costs. Room-mates are GREAT...if you can get along with them. Kris is my bro, I'd do ANYTHING for him...except move in with him. Moving in with one of my really good friends cost me about $2000 and a friend. So just...be prepared. As pessimistic as this sounds...anything that can go wrong, probably will go wrong. ...and if you can't think of anything else that could go wrong, something else will. Apartment's are great places to start, but remember neighbors too. You could move into a place, that's super badass, and that you love...then all of a sudden, come to find out the guy across the hall throws super-loud parties every night of the weekend and you can't sleep.

I busted a guy about a year ago...he was out in the parking lot at 2 in the fucking morning on a wednesday, revving his fucking eclipse up...showing off to the girls in the apartment on the top floor in the building next to me. It's aggravating when you have to get out of bed, yell at your window, "It's two in the fucking morning! Knock that shit off!" The response you get back is, "What the fuck are you going to do about it?"

Trust me bro...moving out is great on one end and shitty on the other end. The more money you can save up, the better off you'll be. I had $2,000 in the bank when I moved out. Ha...fucking poof that shit was going before I even knew what happened. The downpayment, utility transfer and set-up...first month's rent and last month's rent was $1,800. Living is not cheap.

    Good luck with it man.

ok so I'm not going to quote you andy... would be WAYYYYY too long... but I agree completly.

Moving out on my own was one of the gretest experiances of my life, but I went through about 4 roomates, not including tab who was always there, but I had a crack head who would snort coke of fthe toilet, a lazy ass who all but stole my computer (BTW he keyed my car when we threw him out) and his ex girlfriend wo basically abandoned us in the middle of the night to pick up her slack... damir you realy need to watch who you room with, now we're not saying that boni (sp?) is a bad guy but you need to ask your self, "if he screws me, will I be willing to looses a friend who I've come to trust enough to actually want to live with" if the answer is no then I would think twice about actually moving in with him
also living with sombody you will learn very quickly their bad habits, like is he a slob, maby he just cleans up before you come over to hang out, will he eat all your food, does he have a habbit of not locking the door after he leaves.

like andy said were not trying to discurage you, we're just trying to give you our points of view from our own expireances......

Okay, the 1st house was the house I sold last year.....440k.

The second house is the house my grandparents are building....the house itself has TWICE the square footage of the neighbors house with the 8 car garage. My grandparents house itself is up in the 2.2 million range so far. After all is said and done, the entire "estate" (4 acres) will be about 3 million, since they just broke ground on the 2500 square foot garage that will house the three racings trailers and the hauler.
House will have a full tiered theatre room, game room, olympic pool with waterfall into sauna, 18 person hottub up on the deck...central vac, Viking kitchen appliances, that awesome shower with 18 nozzzles, elevator from the garage to the top floor, all wood/marble flooring 4 bedrooms, 1 private suite, 4 full baths, 2 1/2 baths, and a seperate pool bath area. Theyre doing it right.

The neighbors house with garage puts them at about 1 million. The house is very small on the inside. (He collects corvettes). They went cheapo on everything...cheap windows, cheap flooring, cheap siding, cheap roof, etc.

    My house:
Bought it for 575k, and it was appraised for 650k 6 months after I bought it and dumped 25k into the house.

Making 70k around here will get you a condo, which go for 350k starting out...and Im two counties away from DC area, whcih is even more ridiculous. (BUt thats where I travel for work)

I just speak from what Ive seen and heard from my uncle, who lived out in Colorado for many years and has recently moved back into this area. He says that his current house would be 400k less out there in Colorado. And the multi million dollars homes on realtor.com would go for twice as much in this area.

Cost of living is way too high around here....which is why everyone travels into DC for work. Gotta go where the money is. I drive down to Northern Viriginia every day.
