My baby is about to turn 80,000 miles any day now. I got a pic of it turning 50,000, so I might need to get a camera ready for this one too.

well off topic but it does...here in the states a corolla hatchback is called a matrix...overseas it's just a corolla (e12)
    http://www.tte.de/cm_corolla_E12.htm

...there is a two door corolla hatch but no...not in the states. You can see several pics by going to the tte site...I got there via trd. It's pretty bad ass...they even have a supercharged 2 door (2zz)
    http://www.tte.de/cm_corolla_compressor.htm

...there is also a corolla hatch that looks freaky wierd (E11), this one is also not in the states.

...but no not in the states sadly ;)

    But yeah...MF's last forever!

    thats not bad wing,

my 03 corolla has 80k. and it would probably be at 100k if i didn't get into 3 accidents. (leaving my car in for about 1 month for first 2 accidents and my car is currently in the shop still for the most recent one)

HOLY crap! Turned over already. Damn, mines has like 236,000 miles on it. All orginal parts in the motor except for the slight mods. Tranny needs to get fixed but hopefully converted to a manual instead. Just wished the previous owner took better care of it.

I was talking to a customer today that had an accord...he said he had 218k on it and was rounding a corner one day ant the t-belt snapped...it was the original t-belt...he was laughing but I was in shock...ruined a perfectly good engine...cause of no t-belt change...

:D guess I don't have to worry about waiting to change mine till 80-90k miles on the belt (already changed once)

most of today's engines are non interfearance (not exactly sure about the accord in which u speak) so snapping the timing belt would not damage the engine.
