Here's a topic that I came across on another message board and it got me thinking.

Guys: Would you want to know how many guys your girl has slept with? and how many guys is too many? Would you tell your girl how many girls you slept with?

Girls: Would you tell your man how many guys you slept with? Would you want to know how many girls ur man has slept with? And how many is too many?


Its funny cause the other board I saw this on, went into a full battle about it. Girls said that its never too many. And guys said after a certain #, a girl is considered a whore. However, when a guy sleeps with too many girls, its okay and their not a whore either but the girls think otherwise.

what are your thoughts?

i second Eric. double standards suck when it comes to stuff like this.

hell...double standards suck when you've broken up with someone, recover quickly, and move on quickly. if a guy does that, then he's applauded - if a girl does it, she's called a whore, slut, etc. it's lame.

Hahaha, I used eye for an eye in another thread just yesterday, thats a good say'n. I dont know how I feel on this topic. People have sex, men or women doesn't matter. Sex feels good and is fun but ultimatly you settle down with that one person you devote yourself too so I guess it doesn't matter how many people they had previously been with as long as your the last they will ever be with. Not sure if thats a very good answer but I haven't finished my Starbucks yet

sad i took a class in communication and this was a mjor topic where most guys agree after a certain number they are a whore.... and guys can sleep with as many people as he wants!

I dont believe in double standards either... after 20 for either id think they were kinda loose...

In fact there are 22 gender related words to describe men as loose and more than 200 that label loose women! And typically the male terms are seen more as praise then insults!

Yeah I don't agree with that. I've never really asked my girlfriends how many people they slept with. We discuss things like getting tested and stuff to be safe, but as long as she's clean I don't like to pry into her past.

here's another way of looking at it.

when asked, if you're embarrassed by the number you've slept with, then you've slept with too many. that can go for both genders.

The barn' is all knowing and all seeing or something And no I didn't tell him to say "Eye for an eye" I just got lucky hehe

That makes sense, if your embarassed at the answer then chances are you think lesser of yourself then the person your telling would

I think it should be an even thing man, women have the same freedom rights as a guy and if a woman wants to sleep with 100 then hey that's her choice and I'm no one to tell her otherwise. I'm a pretty laid back guy and stuff and honestly I could care less with how many guys my gf is been with before, hell I know I've been with quite a few girls before but I just hope my next gf doesn't give me shit for it cause I know I won't give her shit for what she's done, it was her choice and I respect it.

^ If something were to show up, I'd hope she was mature enough to tell me and discuss it with me. Although if that was the case I'd probably want to get rid of her.

to find out how easy she is. if she has slept with more than 8-10, to me she is considered a whore.
i can't have a realtionship with a girl that sleeps on the first date. Thats just me though. I also dont whore around as well.
