    Christmas Tree or Holiday Tree?

Seems that this year has a lot of people protesting the fact that the tree is referred to as a Christmas Tree, and not a Holiday Tree.

I think its ridiculous, because most of these protestors are atheists and are protesting because of their own insecurities, and its even more ironic because a Christmas tree actually isnt a reglious symbol, and is part of a traditional secular holiday as well. Its a pagan symbol...same as a wreath.

Very rarely do you see a Jewish person complaining about a Christmas tree. Why? Because the fact that its called a Christmas Tree most likely doesnt offend them. But someone has to come out and try to change it because they think it offends a certain group, when in fact it doesnt.

Like George Carlin once said..."ugly is ugly, and Christmas is Christmas"

all this demand for political correctness is only coming from caucasians it seems too!! it's getting ridiculous.

If we have to change Christmas Tree to "Holiday" Tree, then the Jewish should have to change the Minora to a "Holiday" Candle holder... it's equally as ridiculous :p
