Sudoko, suicide or game... or both

ok so heres the concept you have a square broken up in to 9 pieces then again in 9, for a total of 81 squares you have to put numbers in each square with out repeating a number 1-9 in any row or coloum or even square of 9 boxes confused yet... heres the trick... the help you out by placing random numbers in some of the boxes...

I did these everyday during the summer while working at a day camp (I kinda watched the kids too....heh heh). There is no math involved (besides basic counting), it's all about logic.

What number is that particular puzzle?

Nice find - pretty easy, the more constrained the system is - the easier to solve. if you can solve system of equations (eg. linear algebra) - these should be a piece of cake.

Yeah, try some of the difficult ones and post how long it took! THe easy ones arent too bad, the mediums arent too bad either. The hard and difficult ones are TOUGH!

Tried couple Medium ones, took me around 12-13mins for each, but still below average. :(
Tried the Hard once, holy cow, it's so hard that I couldn't finish it. Will try it again later this week.

conquered an "evil" one...nevermind the time, I was watching 24 and ER while doing this. What sucks is that they only let you pencil mark like 5 or 6 per square so when I needed to fill in more I found myself writing on my screen w/ a dry-erase marker. =D

YOU DO IT WITHOUT PENCIL MARKING!!...lol, I think it would have taken me at least an hour of full concentration w/o the marking.
