Most every store will price match their own lower price within 30 days, no matter what time of year it is.
Think about it.....if you saw something cheaper, you could pack it up, return it, and then buy it again for the lowered price. Stores know this, so instead of not allowing that (cuz they technically couldnt NOT allow it), they just price match and give you a refund of the difference. Ive done it numerous times in the past.

I don't think you can do that. I worked at CC for 6 days a couple weeks before T'Giving last year and that was something they stressed to us.

I'm checking out the Circuit City ad now... I can ask my friend if they'll do price match on stuff like that... That'd make sense...

Yes, you can do that. All stores price match their own prices.

If you buy a TV from Sears on a Friday for 1500 bucks, and the price drops down to 1000 a week later, you go back in and get your 500 bucks back.
I did this exact same thing with my LCD TV. Bought it from Bestbuy for 2800....(which was CC's price that they price matched)....then Bestbuy lowered it down to 2500, and I went BACK in and got 300 bucks back

BTW, NEVER, NEVER work at Circuit City or any other retail location near the holidays. I got that job last fall looking to make some extra money so I could mod the rolla a little. When they told me I'd have to work Black Friday and the day after Christmas, I told them as I was boarding a plane back to DC that I quit their shitty little retail job. lol

Not on Black Friday though.... Because of the crazy deals stores have, especially on electronics, if you buy an item before 11/25 and it is later put on sale on black friday, they won't price match it.

Also, good luck finding some of these items the day after Black Friday, because they often only stock 3 or 4 of them, etc. knowing that they are going to sell out.

yeah, Ive worked retail on this coming weekend......I wanted to shoot myself after that.

Yeah, most sell out quickly. After people RUN and knock eachother down to get to it. One year I just casually walked into a Target at 6AM and everyone was running past me like crazy people.
Thats why you buy today. Dont have to worry about it.

Ok, so I spoke to my friend, and as long as it isn't a 6 hour special, you should be able to price match it. He didn't see much of a problem with it. I believe that he's going to bring the issue up with his manager.

I doubt theyll have any. And if they did, you should get there at least before midnight.

The target near me got 20 in, and at 8pm last night, people were camping out! Camping out for 12 hours!
The Best Buy got 56, and they handed out vouchers at 5am for an 8am pickup, and Costco got 24, and they handed out vouchers at 530.

The Sears got 7...SEVEN! And they had 5 people camping out since last night.

Speculation is that they wont get any more until Dec 20th.

I think its all hype though...I bet Ill walk into a store within the next two weeks and see a pile of them for sale somewhere

This store near me was supposed to ge their shipment today and it was delayed. Every other store in town is out of stock. This store didn't advertise either. It might be a crowd, but who knows... this is a really small town too.

my most favorite thing to price match (at least JC Penneys I used to work there so I know this works llke a charm) when they are doing their clearence sales... buy something that you don't realy care about and "loose the recept... wait 60 days untill the price jumps back up to regular price and return it... they will give you the lowest price in the past 30 days... :)

Yeah. I held on to something from home depot. We bought it at like 1/2 off and returned in a couple months later and they gave us a credit in the full amount.

Sam's club was supposed to have their 360's today. They are coming Friday. This morning there were 60 people outside. I don't think my chances are very good unless I resort to ruthlessness.
