Dude, stop with the political party bullshit. It has NOTHING to do with this, and now your just backpedaling. Its no big deal, so no need to cover your tracks.

Its pretty ridiculous when thats all ya have...you obviously misread my post, and replied accordingly. Just admit you made a fucking mistake and MOVE ON

Buying LV on the internet usually means you're buying fake stuff... Hence my comment about how authorized retailers aren't allowed to sell their stuff on the net. If I misread your post, I would have said so.

e-andree - I'd suggest the Coach bag over the LV for a gift. My mom has a Coach bag that she got almost 20 years ago and it still looks brand new today. Also less likely that there is a knock-off piece that you might run into. I'm getting my wife one as well - since they have a great reputation for design, durability, and quality for the price.

Here is an interesting site - http://www.handbag.com/fashion/howtolookgood/spottingfakes/</b/

Indicates the common signs of replica handbags. Also has links to authorized online resellers for designer labels - most backed the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy group (LVMH) designer label international group.

Then why did you say that in the first place, instead of talking about hurting financially, supporting the terrorists....blah blah blah, when it clearly said I didnt want something fake.

So youre saying that the purses theyre selling at COACH.COM are fake? Get the fuck outta my thread and stop trying to backpedal

Sorry to take your thread off topic Dre, but I read this post and the ignorance of it just hit me in the face...

Since when does being Republican have anything to do with taking a joke or looking for discounts on luxury items?

    Nice stereotype...

Awww I bet they'll look smashing on you. LMAO (I know I read...for your girlfriend.)

Yeah, the ignorance of it only makes him look bad.
Most republicans he knows dont look for discounts on luxury items?? How ridiculous is THAT statement? It actually makes me laugh out loud. It also makes me laugh that when he looks at someone, he automatically puts them into a republican or democrat category. And its also ridiculous that in every single one of his replies, he ties it back into whether or not someone is a democrat or a republican, which in itself is ridiculous and petty.

And I am still curious as to where I ever said I was republican in the first place.....

In the link above you made an entire thread to brag about how much you have in the bank. If you don't see the irony in later posting a thread inquiring about where to buy luxury goods for discount prices, I can't help you.

As to why I alluded to you buying fake goods, you never mentioned Coach or an official website of LV in your original post. Obviously a retailer's website is a source to buy their goods, but since you didn't mention those, you seemed to be implying sources other than than the official website, such as eBay, etc. When you buy items like Coach or LV from a source on the internet other than an official website, you drastically increase your chances of buying counterfeit goods.

    Right...no millionaire looks for bargains.

Until I did some more research, I wasnt exactly sure how this retail market worked (in regards to high end names....Coach, Vuitton, etc).

You could have saved yourself a lot of grief and stupidity by not posting your original reply to this thread. Yeah, I posted the above thread, but it was tongue in cheek since most of it goes back into my current house, and for anyone that had read my other thread about this house and the process of me selling my other house, they would know that.

Im sick of your sarcastic attitude towards everything when its not needed. Yeah, you can say Ive been in the same boat, but I know when to be sarcastic and when not to be. Your original post was an intentional stab at me, and youre STILL backpedaling about it.
Regardless of what I mention or didnt mention, your original post did nothing to answer the question. If you had been mature enough to take your head out of your ass for once, and just answered with something to the effect of "well, unless you go through one of their direct retailers, the chances of obtaining a fake item is much more likely" it would have been appreciated. Instead, you had to stoop to a middle school level with your "hurting financially, funding terrorisms, republicans dont ever look for bargains, god forbid" bullshit and throw another thread off into another direction, once again.

If every reply to my threads is going to have a republican slant to it, dont bother wasting my time.

Now, back on topic.....I bought the holiday patchwork bag from coach.com. Because I realized that it was too risky to go through any other sites, and I dont have the time to hit up the actual stores right now. And I didnt realize that the majority of the LV stuff runs 700-1200 per bag...

Ninety four.....if you dont see the irony in my above actions and the fact that you couldve just given that advice right off the bat, I cant help you

Good thing you didn't buy a LV bag. That stuff is CRAZY. An ugly freaking purse that costs as much as a set of rims.

You know when to be sarcastic and not to be? How do you know "When to be sarcastic"?

Oh and just so you don't feel like I'm taking a blind stand at you I'll offer some advice on the thread topic :) My wife has a Coach and a Louis Vatton and the Coach seems to be the more durable purse of the two. However be warned that if you got a Coach purse with sued leather that is a light color it gets dirty really fast and coach tells you that there little brush will clean it right up but it doesn't :) You have to take it to a leather shop and they do crazy stuff to clean it. Just FYI. The Vatton doesn't get dirty as fast because the leather seems to be cured and smooth and doesn't pick up stains and stuff very easily. And just for the record I paid for the coach but I didn't buy the vatton because those things are too expensive for me to ever justify its purchase :)

    Thats my 2 cents :)
