We just got some major additions to our biggest account.
Old Format: They would write the orders, set the times, print the labels.
Old Format: We would get 2-300 coils per month, and ship out on average 3 loads a day to them.

New Format: We write the orders, set the times & print the labels.
New Format: We are getting a terminal with access to their system in order to read all their ageing reports.
New Format: We are getting 7-800 coils per month and shipping out on between 7-9 loads a day.

Nope, same place, same management, same supervisor position.


The whole reason I'm changing up to these hours is A) I'm the only one who will completely make sure everything is done for the day. (Reminds me of my 7-9...7-10pm days.) And also...working 72 hours a week is a HUGE bonus to my check. Instead of $1150-$1200 checks, it'll look more like $1600-$1700.
