How were the holidays for all?

    My most vivid memories are:

Getting completely hammered Christmas Eve and watching, 28 Days Later, SpaceBalls & Napoleon Dynamite.

Calling Travis about 6:00 PM to wish him and his family Merry Christmas...he puts me on speaker phone...goes, "Say that again." I say it again and hear Arwen in the backround saying, "critmas! critmas!"

    Adorable.

Well I went yesterday to check it out amongst other bikes and stuff and see if I could get through myself, couldn't so yea, my dad's friend could possibly cosign for me so if he does then I'll end up getting the bike and if not then not for another while, only think killing me right now is a cosigner. The problem now is not that I can't pay it, the problem is that I need credit history, I'm sure something will come up though, I'm in no hurry anyways.

because my dad has HORRIBLE credit or he would've done it otherwise and my mom WOULD do it like she said she was going to WHICH is why I went up there yesterday and COULD'VE walked away with the bike and gear last night but she's going through a rather childish time at the moment with her love life so I'd rather not get in that..... like I said something will come up, I just want the bike cause it's a safe, rare and awesome color scheme, price isn't too shabby, really low miles and a few aftermarket add ons..... We'll see what happens.

    Get your license first!

You seem to count your chickens before theyre hatched dude....how many times have you said you were going to buy a bike? At least 3 different times now. How many times did you say you were going to turbo your rolla? Eerytime something came up, and you admitted that you were jumping into things. Now your two cars later, and less than 2 weeks ago you didnt have a job, and you were complaining about how you only had a thousand bucks or something like that to buy a car. Just a word of advice, but you seem like you jump into things without thinking it all through, and you may bury yourself again, cuz you dont know what the future holds.

Get your license first, and take the safety course.

I'm working on it, a have a few more days off my work than usual this upcoming 2 weeks so I'm gonna sign up for my MSF class during the 2nd week of January since I get paid till the 7th and take care of what needs to be done regarding the bike situation. I just want the bike with me even if I don't ride it for a week, hell doesn't matter anyways cause it's winter but they're giving it away to me at a very good price and I can't let pass that up unless there's no way possible.

ROFL...I put 9500 miles on my Yamaha with no license, then put another 1300 or so on it with just my permit. Here we are today...I still have just the permit, and a bike I bought brand new with nearly 11k on the odometer.

Yep. I really should go get it...but all the other streetbikers get pulled over and have tickets written because they are obviously riding down highways and streets at double, sometimes triple the speedlimit, along with 85 mph, 10 mile wheelies down the highway.
I can pull a wheelie in first gear...my longest one was about 400 yards.
Very rarely when there is little traffic on the highway will I get up past 95.
90% of the time, I'm going as fast on the bike as I do in the truck. 4 mph over the limit. Cops leave me alone. I also don't go riding past officers in sandals, shorts and a wife-beater. O_O I've got a helmet, gloves, a leather race jacket, full-length pants and steel-toe boots on.
They really don't take second glances at me.
...except for that one time, coming around a corner, about 2 blocks down from my apartment. It was about 11:00 at night, I was feeling crazy, so as soon as I hit the straight, I stood up and brought it up. Of course, the ONLY car on the road was a cop. He couldn't flip an immediate U-Turn because of the median, but he did scream the 200 feet down to the intersection with his lights and sirens on and flip one there. I saw him turning around, right as I threw myself all the way down, and went hauling into my complex about 65 mph. The speed-limit back through there is 15...or 20...or something very low. I moved along the back street about 75 mph...locked up the rear end coming into my parking space (Which fortunately was between an F-350 and a Suburban.) Threw the kickstand down and ran full speed (gear still on) into my apartment. Sure enough about 4 minutes later...here comes the cop.
That was my only experience with police on my bike. Needless to say that taught me to bring the front of the bike up when there is not a single car or pedestrian in sight. I'll take my own life into my hands, but not others.
(Whew, long post me for me.)

Word to that...lol, that reminds me of my 4 month recovery from illness. That was a hell of recovery.

The story from yesterday, is Mike swung by and picked me up and we went to check out a '91 MK3 at a dealership..."Oh we sold that Saturday. But if you give me your name and number, I can call the guy and see if he wants to sell us another one, he has three or four of them, and all his friends have them."

...that was the 2nd biggest run-around from a salesman I've ever heard.
