They must really like Toyotas and Hondas. Whats with the Camry?

I can see why some are stolen - but from the NHTSA, the Chevy Metro? At least try and steal a car that will not be outrun by people on foot.

Its for the parts....the parts are scarce, so theyre more valuable on the black market. The less scarce car parts are in demand because of the demand for them.

Saying that info is outdated would mean that there is more updated information available.

But yea, the lists are worthless if 4 seperate agencies all list completely different lists of cars.

Some of the list are just the cars that are stolen the most, period... some of them are the cars that are stolen the most, percentage wise... in other words, for every 1000 of this car, there are xx that are stolen... the total might be low, but the percentage of the cars that get stolen are high... that might account for 2 list, the rest, nof ucking clue...

Honda Civic has to be the most stolen of all time, I don't care what the lists say. Where I grew up if you owned a Honda Civic you better have a good alarm, the club, etc because everybody in the world can break into a Honda Civic in two seconds, atleast the old ones :)

Flat head screw driver, hammer, 5 minutes and you're done. Not that I have ever done it before... Also, to get back on topic, there are several lists that are released. Some are just by numbers (number of cars stolen) some are by percentage (i know that someone posted this above but it should be reiterated) and some are by how much it costs whether it be through insurnace claims or not.

In any case, if you own any early 90's Honda, Toyota, or Integra, have your shit locked down. Usually, when you have the club or an alarm, thieves will pass over your car and just get the guy who left his car unprotected. If they really want your car, there's not much you can do to stop them short of putting it in a big cage.

If you have a Type R or a 99-00 Si, get a garage and a security guard.
