How do I red out my tails?

I have seen pics around the board and on other boards of people that were able to red out the yellow turn signels in the otherwise red stock tail light housings on 01 corolla's? How is it done? I really want to make my tails completely red all the way accross because my 1st gen altezza's are getting old and I want to try something new.

testors candy apple red spray paint... I got mine at hobby loby or you can get it at walmart...

do about 4 coats letting it dry for like 20 minutes between coats.\

then do testors clearcoat over it about 3 coats of that.. and let dry for 24 hours... the ripples will dissapear over time.. .mine tool about 3 days to smooth out. just don't wash your car untill they have smothed out

I did mine in july and they still look as good as the day I did them... when you do wash your car beshure not to get the power sprayer too close to your tails or you'll start throwing paint...

    happy painting...

I was there with them and is fairly simple. Just get some masking tape and cover whatever you don't want painted and puts LOTS of newspaper of w/e to cover your paint up cause DR here didn't use enough and almost ruined his paint lol

or yea that if you have the 98-02 tails they're the easiest to take out and paint, it's a fun project.
