hehe anytime really --- i dont plan on making tonight stressful --- i also plan on stopping around 11 so as not to burn myself out --- every time i push myself past 11 (unless we're close to finished) it seems to bite me in the ass and i feel like shit the next day with no drive to finish the project... can't afford to do that in this case --- also i think im gonna cut out at 2:30 --- if i can pull it off -- must scheme some. :)

hehe -- Andy and I got some done this morning... with an hour delay from going all over fuckin town to find a 30mm deep well socket to get the axle nuts off... i broke the breaker bar - that was fun, so i had to buy another one --- got a craftsman this time, if it breaks we'll swap...

    Current Status:

    two motor mounts left
    1 hose to be disconnected

The crane is hooked up to the motor and its ready to go - i'm going to pull the top mounts out next and hopefully the motor will come free when i start the crane up. if it comes free, i'll see if i can get it out with mark's help... then its just swap the tranny and turbo to the other block, line up for the motor placement then use the crane to put it in.

werd... i hurt EVERYWHERE right now too...

how bad is ryan's car? and wow, good thing you were in his car and not yours when that happened... that coulda turned REALLY bad.

as Denver said, up and running --- drove it 2 miles last night... 1 mile, then had to cut it off cause it overheated --- fucking coolant was too low, but got that resolved and it drove fine back... going to go check for drips/leaks, etc maybe later today when i recover... got to sleep finally around 4am.

new clutch is fuh-reaky... feels like a stock clutch, grabs like my fuckin 2600 did... so far so quiet on it tho. :)

We're seriously thinkin this motor had a lot less on it than the originally thought 30k... when we pulled the oil pan to put the turbo-tapped pan on it was amazingly clean under there... looked like new.

:woot: we rule! hehehehe good times indeed, ran into minimal problems though. The biggies biatch was that rear motor mount that gave us grief with the bolts and stuff but worked that out and it was smooth from there. That motor looked like it was close to brand new it was sweet......... the thought that I could've had it makes me go nuts lol

hehe yeah 1.5 hours on that rear motor mount just because it got misaligned on the first approach, what a bitch... that and the axle nuts were the two bitches of the project. oh yeah, and the scare with the power steering pump, ROFL.
