    My name is Alfredo Im from the Tijuana/ San Diego CA area, I have a 98' Rolla, was going to sell it but since its so fuckin awsome, We have decided to keep it as our DD. :whoo:

    I just noticed the dates on most of the threads. :Facepalm: What happened? Can something be done to bring it back to life? Seems like a good community. Anyhow thanks for the reply. :thumbsup:

    The place "died" so many years ago, but a few of us kept things for a few years after that for fun, but I guess all good things come to an end. People move on, the site had issues, "social media" replaced forums. This one became mostly about the 8th gen corolla for whatever reason, but then not too many people have that. Most forums died. Toyota nation is still alive, but again not too much 8th gen Corolla going on there. But as you may have noticed, some people do still post on here and keep the spirit alive. I check the site daily still too. Feel free to add to the spark on here!

    I have noticed that about forums. Seems like no forums adapted to social media instead of trying to compete for users attention. Thanks for the warm welcome. I will try my best to add to the spark Goldy. Have a good weekend.

    Forums like this can't compete with "social media". Those social medias are run by businesses for profit. The remaining forums that are still alive are also run by businesses for profit. Originally, forums like these are run just for fun by "normal people" as a hobby... at their own expense. Even on their own private personal computers and servers. Fortunately, the owner "Vortex" wants to keep the place up, so it remains.

    hehe yeah, one of the advantages to having a server running a bunch of other stuff already and being able to keep it hanging around. :) it doesn't take a lot of resources and we still ping each other every now and again. :) Also Goldy, don't sell yourself short.
