    Here's an update. Picked up some daily wheels for the time being. I'll be painting the faces white and polishing out the lips. Not really hellaflush material nor is it my style, but I got them for cheap and I couldn't pass them up. :whoo:

    Haha you're bustin my balls right Gold?

    I've seen your IG pics, looks hard to photochop some of them.

    Nah, my heart is set on white. I would love to do a white face, polished lip, gold bolts combo but it'll be around $200 to get them dipped. I just wanna rock them for now, resell them, and maybe look into some TE37's or something. Oh so you sold your D2's to Danny? Are they going on his other Corolla?

    Lol, we just like our cars clean. I would love to wrap my car a different color next year tho but idk what.

    So I decided to paint my front lip. Goodbye snakeskin! I couldn't find Dupicolor Super White at Kragen, so I went with Dupicolor Frost White instead. Came out pretty decent. And yes I know I'm using aftermarket lug nuts on stock wheels. I don't have any OEM ones right now.

    Color is a little off but oh well. And I have the side skirts. I just took them off when I broke my rear valence driving to Long Beach. );

    There might be a Home Depot part #, but as far as the bolt goes.. Grade 8 should be all the same... Some might not be Gold.

    Lips are finally done, now I just need to paint the faces, polish out the bolts, and they'll be ready for reassembly.

    Good way to start off the week.. Unbelievable! Sucks, it was such a good car, with a lot of life left in her. Maybe the next one I get, I can keep around longer than a year. I'm having a hard time finding another S around here. I really don't want to go back to tan interior...

    I don't know yet. I'm getting headlights tomorrow. It's at a different place this time. Police were involved and made me tow it to a tow yard. The green one was at a body shop. The tow yard operator seems cool, but doesn't want an insurance adjuster to show up as I'm yanking the struts/springs off. He said I could take the headlights though. The strut exchange would take a couple hours, ya know? I can "buy it back" from the insurance company for whatever they offer me for the car, minus my deductible. That way I can have it at my house and pull the parts, then sell it for scrap to a yard.. Such a hassle, friggin sucks.

    Yeah that always sucks. At least it wasn't your fault. How are you, I saw the picture of the truck, that must've hurt.

    It was a pretty hard hit. My back is tight.. I decided to get checked out after I got to work, and the Dr. hooked me up with some pain meds. From what I was told that truck was at fault. Supposedly he slammed into a Tahoe and pushed that into my car.

    Well, rear-ends are pretty much always the fault of the one in the rear.

    Yea, I'm lucky I didn't hit the truck in front of me. I got jerked, my neck flew back and when I finally came to, I looked up and saw I was heading towards the truck in front of me, but I swerved into an industrial parking lot out of the way.

    I found an 01 S, with 5 speed close to home today. It's becoming a clustered mess between insurance companies since it was a multiple car collision. Hopefully I'll find something out soon.
