You should get a heavy weight shift knob also, the short shifter can be difficult to shift

I wonder if a heavy weight skunk 2 shift knob would work...

I thought those ralcos came with a knob?

No they don't it just says it is threaded to accept factory shift knob.

If anybody wants to make me a plug and play harness for the celica gt ecu swap I'll be happy to pay lol

Yea skunk2 or blox should work fine. lol the patch harness really isn't that hard to make

I forgot about blox, and yeah I've never really been good with electrical I've been reading up on it in the archives and I found so much different info on it that it just seems confusing seemed like everybody had a different way of doing it or explaining it. I tried finding Irvin's post of it bc he seemed to be able to explain it best but no luck. If somebody could email the diagrams needed or post links here for the diagrams that would help. I have a buddy who does a lot of motor swaps on Hondas and he knows more about repinning ecu's I'm sure he could do it with the right info.

So besides the intake manifold, throttle body, and flexible radiator hose is there anything else I need for the swap?

Maybe some vacuum hose? im not sure if all your old ones will reach.

Ok autozone carries vacuum hose rite? There is one right down the street from our shop and I'm pretty sure the sell it by the foot for whatever diameter you need.

What's the best way to clean a throttle body? Like what's the best cleaner to use? I wanna clean this one before I install it.

I use brake cleaner or throttle body cleaner, same thing to me.

I use throttle body cleaner, it removes the carbon better than brake clean

Oh ok I didn't know they actually made throttle body cleaner lol what's a good way to keep the sensor protected?

It wont hurt the sensors and its good to remove the Idle Air Control and clean in there too.

Ok I'll have to give it a good deep cleaning before I install it.

What thread pitch is our shift knob? Lookin at some blox and skunk2 weighted shift knobs but not sure what thread pitch to get.

What says the ralco shifter has the same thread? maybe theres a common one they used..
