    Hi guys

I create this thread to post some pics of my first time at track, in a drag race event here in Panama. The event was made in the following categories: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 and 17 seconds...

The saturday in the practice/qualifying I only made 1 pass and the time was 16.154... the sunday in the main event my car was consistenly in 16.1 - 16.0 with no problem... I won the 1st place in my category

I ran it exactly like I use it for daily drive, no drag tyres (toyo r888, advan), no aditives (torco, vp)... etc etc

    My list:
    * 3" custom CAI w/ K&N air filter, OBX header, 2.25" exhaust piping, JASMA replica oval 2.5 muffler
    * street tires Toyo DRB 195/50/15
    * pump gas (91 oct)
    * I took out the rear seats, passenger seat and my subwoofer

Beside that, the other things remain from factory  I think it was a good time, considering that I have basic modifications like I/H/E ... and the engine isn't vvt-i

Because we dont have a drag strip, this events was made in airports... One thing to consider is that the grip isn't bad but its not perfect. (mild slippy grip)

The weather was hot like 34 ºC o_O

That's a pretty good time. What were you trap speeds like? I usually trap between 86 - 88mph

I can't tell you exactly the speed because they don't measure the trap speed, but I think is like you say... when I finished the 1/4 mile my gauge was between 85-90 mph

I don't know how they do it in Panama, just trying to learn more about their ZZE110 tuning scene.

    Thanks Matthew ~~

James, if I tell you... in tuning scene here in Panama, can say I'm the only (crazy guy) that have a zze110 with mods or the only zze110 to be in a track event... the car practically is unique

Here in Panama the culture is to use corollas (7th, 8th, 9th gen) for taxi because they are economic... sadly :(

Yep, same way here in the US also. People think we are crazy. In Thailand like 95% + of all taxis are Corollas.

    hahahaha really?

Here is the same: a guy that have a clean or tuned corolla is rare. The people when see the car in traffic or event are surprised  I like it, because I think is different of the rest

Modified Corollas are rare everywhere.... or rather, a very small percentage of the total Corollas. That's just normal lol, and what makes us Corolla modifiers unique
