    lightened underdrive pulleys and throttle bodies? just curious what you guys think of them. how much of a difference do they make?

    I had a underdrive crank pulley, took it off because oil was leaking and i didn't feel like replacing the seal.

    But I am running a celica gt intake manifold + throttle body and a throttle body spacer. It sure made a difference.

    Here is a vid of mine.


    And a vid of a friend's corolla. His mods at the time were 'celica intake manifold/throttle body, cold air intake, underdrive crank pulley, 2.25" hi flow cat to 2.5" exhaust'


    Oh and I have a modified ecu and he had a celica gt ecu

    lol thats an old vid with my old blackberry camera. I will try and get a better one when we have some better weather.

    Yea mack it was quick's car, temp gauge wasn't working at the time. car was fully warmed up.

    7th gen celica. most of it is bolt on...i know the upper radiator hose has to be re-routed around

    earlier years matrix 1st gen, corolla 9th gen and mr2 3rd gen work aswell since they are the same IM

    I will probably start with just a throttle body spacer. did you guys make your own, or buy them off ebay?
