Hey guys been a while, reason is I was on my way to pick up a corolla S trunk lid so I'd have the factory spoiler and on the way back my motor went out. Don't really know why but anyway I should be having it replaced soon just a little update.

Damn dude, i fear the day my body kit rolla will leave me stranded anywhere....got 260k miles on it now.

I kinda want to tackle the engine swap this week....have a 03 corolla engine in my uncles garage for the past year or so.

Yeah idk I kept the oil changed and everything and all of a sudden starting knocking and lost power has almost 180k on it. What sucks is I had just spent 500 having a new clutch kit and flywheel installed the week before.

But anyways I was wondering about these wheels I'm really wanting they are 15x8 will that give me any problems?

My buddy has a set on his ef civic with 205/50's and they scrub so I figured if I run them with 195/50s I should be ok but I wasn't sure if 8 inch wheels would fit on our cars without causing problems.

Ok thanks that's what I figured but just wanted to be sure before buying anything, just gotta find somebody who can do it.

Lol that's one reason I'm afraid of lowering the rear end bc rite now it has 16x7s with 205s on em and still rubs every now and then at stock height. So I was thinkin of just throwing some teins on the front to close up that major wheel gap and leaving the rear stock or just go back to my 15 inch rotas. I at least wanna run a 50 series profile tire anything lower than that would suck here with all the pot holes and horrible bridges. I'm afraid runnin 40s or 45s would just ruin my wheels.

I had a similar prob staying out on the plots with a lot of gravel/dirt roads and constant wash away.
Only when I moved I lowered the car, still on the same wheels though, but soon putting on the Racing Harts.

Yeah I just really think those gold wheels would set the car off so ill prolly look into getting the rear fenders rolled and run 195/50s on and lower it. I know it's extra work but I think it'd be worth it in the end.

But suggestions are tire sizes are welcome lol

Just tryin to think of best possible way to go since it doesn't seem likely I'll be able to lower the rear with these wheels. The clearance on the rear is already close with stock suspension and 16s. So tire/suspension combinations for 15x8s would be appreciated. I'll look more into having the fenders rolled. If nothin else I'll keep the 16s on it and I also still have the black 15inch rota slips.

What size tires do y'all run on 15s and 16s?

gotta get those fenders rolled, the difference is huge.....also inside the wheel well get a hammer and hit the curby part where the tires scrape, i dont rub anymore and i got huge 205/50/16 on 16x7

205/50 on a 15x8 here. +20. im decently dumped and had to roll and pull the fenders a bit.

That's exactly the same size I'm running rite now, and that doesn't sound to bad at all I've never heard it explained before. Just curious what suspension are you running?
