Here is something great that the TTCC did for us.
    Enjoy!!

Go see post 7 on here:
    http://www.tolken.co.za/twincamforum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=69858

    Side note:
Number plates with GP at the end is Johannesburg (GP = Guateng Province)
those with ND infrnt are from Durban (Natal - Durban)
So GP is +/-700Km inland from ND on the coast.

Here is the event invite post

That's an interesting way to hide the intake

Well it is a good way to insure the intake stays cool from the engine heat.
Most setups here have similar conversions for this purpose as this is a Turbo.

I kinda like that and can see where or rather how they made it.
    They used two seperate ones.
Have a look at the pics on the site of the metalic red Tazz(hacthback) frontlip. the centre was cut out and replaced with the centre of a rear lip.

    Anyway
What you think of the eyelids and the side skirts?
Also of the event and the other cars??

I had bought those eyelids once actually.... promptly threw them away :tank:

I do like those side skirts though, they have the perfect clean style. It's just that front chin looks too heavy, and I don't like how busy it looks painted all white. Plus, there is no rear lip to match.

I hate eye lids....the bumper is....mmmm, ok but that chicken wire is horrible in white, let alone installed on the bumper...a grille mesh would look better

Not sure what you chicken Wire.
That looks like mesh to me.
As mentioned before(forum deleted) the white does make it lood a bit to solid and heavy.

Back in the day people would actually use chicken wire on the grille because the actual grille mesh was like it but cheaper....but now that its considered "rice" no one likes it....the plastic light mesh on the other hand looks better

    OK Cool
Im sure he used the plastic mesh though
Interesting what you guys consider Chicken Mesh.
For me whom worked in a hardware store for many years while I was a student, chicken mesh/wire was not that fine.
You had 50mm and 25mm. The 13mm was classified as bird wire and much more ridged.
But even that was still bigger than the Mesh you see used here, could be 8-10mm

I was actually thinking of getting that rear lip.
What skirts would work with it if those ones do not
(I do not see why not...)

Yeah get what you want. It doesn't match to me because the height is not uniform all around the car.
