DIY 8th Gen Cabin Filter (Updated as i go)

    Well here is the Cabin Filter conversion, This is going to be a continually updated install as soon as i get the time to install the casing of the a/c unit.

    Here is what you need
    -Cabin Filter Door
    -Cabin Filter (I opted out for a active carbon filter from a 3rd party company so i have to wait longer, You can actually order the filter from rockauto.com)
    -7th Gen Corolla bottom A/C Case
    -Toyota Pins to hold the door in place

    Sorry for being a OEM Freak.

    First you start with cutting the hole for the filter and the 2 pegs to make way for the door
    (CAUTION: plastic is thin where the pegs are for best results use rotary tool)
    Its ok if you mess up a little when cutting for the filter, The door covers most of the space that needs to be cut

    Now once you are done Test fit the door and make sure it fits nice and neatly into place.

    Now once you are done. The next step i did just as a precaution, Leak test the cabin door you can test it by filling the other side with water and make sure it doesn't leak.

    Now to install it into the car.
