Nothing is wrong with CDs. I just ain't got time for that.

I don't have a cell phone, and you guys use CDs. We all have our things.

At the highest bird count, we had 21 parakeets and 7 cockatiels.

Yep. Did a lot of breeding with both species. Separately of course. We are down to 4 parakeets and 3 cockatiels.

Yeah I have my cockatiel that I've had since I was 17, and one parakeet is mine, he's the first bird to hatch from our breeding.

WOW. Anyways, we had to put some money into the car just this past week and I have a question.

replaced all four tires, got a much needed alignment, replaced the Exhaust pipe because the repair to the old one was just not holding it anymore. Now the car is quieter and runs well, however there is an annoying clunk clunk coming from the front end. The noise was there before we replaced the tires but now that the exhaust is so much quieter, the clunk is more pronounced :meh:

Plus I forgot to mention, a noticeable clunk when we shift gears. Drive into reverse and Park into drive. Oh oh, maybe the Engine mount?

Does the clunk clunk sound change with engine RPM, or wheel RPM? If engine RPM, it does sound like engine or transmission mounts. I believe there is a DIY here for replacing them!

When we shift into park or reverse we here the clunk and then as we are driving it sounds like in the area of the tires we here clunking going over bumps and such on our well paved roads in the Toronto area

Oh, so it's something suspension related. Can you pin point which wheel it's coming from? Is it a sound only, or can you feel it?

Could be one of the strut mounts.

If you jack up the car, maybe you can get in there and find something loose.

If your car only has about 45 thousand miles on it, I doubt that's the problem. Start simple and work yor way up :)

I was also thinking ball joints... but you'd be able to tell that if you got the wheel off the ground and tried wobbling it.

Car has 118,000 km on it now. The body is in better shape than the Mazda 3 we used to have. It was a 2007 and it began rusting in 2009

Just got back from the Mechanic. Sway Bar joint on right front needs to be replaced due to play in the joint. Going to do both of them at the same time

    That's easy and quick! :awyeah:

My rear ones are totally shot. The car should be a lot smoother for you in corners and such.

Oh yes, so have I. When I used to have my 1991 Accord Coupe, it would never end. I do miss that car though
