    UPDATE:

Installed the bumper on the car today. It still needs some detail work but i figured i would see if the mounting points even line up before i do anything else
    [IMG]
    It fits really good!
Only thing im going to need to jerry rig are the bottom side mounting points, however i saw this coming since the bottom of the newer bumper doesn't round in as much. All other mounting points are almost spot on. Im very pleased with the way its come out so far :)

What do you mean bottom mounting points? My bumper is held on at 4 points... The 2 under the hood and the 2 at the wheel wells, at the edge of the fender. All of those should still be intact on the 98-00 bumper upper half.

I'm glad he kept the 98-00 grille and didn't use the 01-02 like we've seen happen.

thanx yea, im not a fan of the grill or headlights of the newer bumper, and i think the lower half of the bumper goes well with the whole style of the car
    Added: Jul 3, 2013 at 3:26 AM
yea i already have it mounted at those 4, i got some universal pins from autozone to replace the pins i broke in the middle under the grill, that shit lines up pretty well

but yea id like to be able to fasten the bottom sides down as well, i think if i had the 01-02 wheel well covers i could make it work, theres also a metal rod securing it to the frame i might want to play with

My two cents, you don't need anything except the 4 I already mentioned. I've had both bumpers mounted that way, and nothing flaps or wiggles or causes problems.

You'll do a head gasket replacement but won't lower your car?
