the 9003 hid bulbs clearly didnt fit the 9005 or 9006 socket. i had to use electric tape and super glue for the time being. Not quite sure how i would fix that. a friend told me i could order the 9005 and 9006 hid and splice them together to make them work, but how would they plug in to the power source for the 9003? Do they make an harness adapter of some sort?

the fogs got me completely lost seemed pretty simple but for some reason it just wont turn on. The switch had to be placed under the hood instead of through the firewall and near the steering wheel, which i thought was rather od. Basically if i want to run the fog lights i have to pop the hood everytime or just always leave the switch on at all times. Maybe i didnt use a proper ground or my battery is pretty old not sure if its having trouble powering both the fogs and hixenon fogs.

the lip actually lines up perfect now lol i know that was a big issue. It hugs the 02 bumper alot better than the 99in my opinion. No more x on the headlight lol didnt realized the heat from the headlight melted the electric tape on the 99 headlight abcf6e78c97711e2893b22000aa8100d_7.jpg

I would personally just order a new kit that would fit the foglight housing. I wouldn't worry about splicing or anything like that

Dude you can't just tape and superglue HIDs. Your car is going to implode. Get the right bulbs, they should plug into the same ballasts. Then get regular high beam bulbs.

Yeah dude. Your car will most likely literally catch fire and burn. Not even a joke here, that's a lot of power and heat to trust with tape. Get the correct harness for the new headlights, and just run a wire into the cabin for your fogs. Seriously, popping the hood to turn them on? Lame. On the plus side your car looks fucking mean with the new front end.

so i ended up ordering new bulbs. didnt realize the electric tape was so dangerous. i only did it because the cops around here would give me a hard time driving with no lights on. When the bulbs arrive ill try the fog harness one more time. i felt i just chose a wrong ground or maybe issue with way i had the wire attached to the battery terminal
