by looking at it in person its suppose to curve in the middle, i dont like that at all, most likely going to trim it, its not crooked, just odly shaped, look at the top, it even has a hump, weird

have a stop watch ready. count the seconds till it blows. go with the 200. a open -4 is around 350hp in flow rating of nitrous. the 200 should do nicely. i wish i could find videos of my old single slammer ka24e. it used to have a 150 shot wet kit on it. stock bottom end. that thing went through 12 bottles full before it popped a head gasket. shit was beast mode

Wow that sounds pretty good. I only ever ran a 35 shot on the Corolla (wet), due to no timing control. Do you think the stock ECU is fast enough to pull timing in time on that shot? Anything larger?

maybe. the ka24e didnt have any knock control at all. so ignition timing was, what it was. for the n2o it had 4-6* backed off. and one step colder plugs

with the 1zz, i think it will drop timing quicker than one would suspect. i know i have seen mine detect minor knocks and watched timing drop 2-3* in less than a second. but then again, 1 second is along time whem were talking about a running engine.

I was running a step colder in mine for the n2o also. What a difference when I put the stockers back in!

good or bad difference? i would think good, since you said 35 shot. in my experience with nitrous i have found colder plugs nessisasry past 75+ hp shots or when your spray quite often.

Ah, I guess it was overkill then. There seemed to be much more torque instantly when I put the stock heat range back in.

hey, with nitrous its better to be safe than sorry. all you got to do is run with the cooler plugs and read them. if they come out a bit black, then go back to warmer ones.

They were pretty decent looking when I pulled them, so it must have been worth it. Engine is still doing well after 2 bottles so I'm pleased.

nitrous is safe as long as you are smart about it. know your fuel pressure to get the fuel jetting right, make sure the engine is in good shape (not buring oil, bhg, good compression), pull a bit of timing (if you can), cooler plugs when needed and when in doubt, dont spray more than 1/2 of the engines oem output.

35 shot just feels like VTEC imo. It was fun for a while but I got too paranoid.
