    8th gen 5spd,

Recently it's been making a popping noise (and i can feel it too) while coasting or braking. It's coming from the passenger side ish area. I know it's axle or clutch related because the frequency of pops speeds up and slows down with the speed of the
    car
    /wheel.

The strange thing is, is that it doesn't make the noise when im accelerating but as soon as i let of the gas and decelerate the noise starts. It is much worse when i am heading straight foreword, not turning, and also much worse at low RPMs or in
    neutral
. For example, i could be heading the same speed, however, it is much worse at 2500rpms in 4th gear, then 4000rpms in 3rd gear. It is also a little less noticeable when im on the brakes pretty hard.

I don't want to die, anyone know what could be wrong?

    Thanks.

The title itself is kindof a bash because everyone basically just posts about how shitty corollas are and there is only ever problem threads. So thats why fuck toyota nation.

Ok someone on TN  mentioned wheel bearings and hubs, so i jacked it up and i can wiggle the whole passenger side wheel and hub around. So im actually thinking wheel bearings and hubs now. I might just do both axles and both hubs.

So im almost positive its my wheel bearing. I think it will be cheaper to replace the hub assembly myself rather than rebuild with a new bearing. Whats the best place to get this kind of thing online, and what are some good brands?

New wheel bearing and spindle & 4 new tires with alignment fixed everything. After i pulled my axle out of the hub the wheel bearing and spindle basically fell out . Glad im not dead.

Already in the lookout. Might just break down and buy them new soon though. Kinda which I could do paint wheels and suspension all at once. But I need to figure out my ECU also. It's bugging the shit out of me.
