You get your choice between the fuel options. You do not use all of them together.

The AFC has been shown to not be the best option. The 2 extra injector set up is still good and the eManage and larger injectors.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any further questions.

hehe thanks... if all goes well this should almost be a replica (minus placement) of the same setup i'm running (emanage mode) should this work out the way I expect it to for Jer, i'll slap my "vortex's boosted seal of approval" on this kit. (which all of you know, is damn hard to come by) As I said, I'm following this one pretty closely.

for the record - eManage is in my opinion the only *proven* way to go on our cars. Everything else has had major problems that I have seen, except in *TWO* (count that *TWO*) instances that I know of.

    yeah
i've been talking to pilun lately and i think i'm going to do the non emanage way, it involves inline fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator parallel with the inline fuel pump, LOL. not GREAT for tuning, but I'm cheap, and i can just set it to run extra rich. the stock injectors and fuel rail can handle it, and the ecu handles fuel (= no enrichment) for vaccuum and non-boost conditions.

ps barnacules, are you deadnick from the hella hella old boards? (saw a carpc post a while back)

i've also heard that the compressor outlet piping shouldn't be going under the car due to scrapage, so I don't know about that.

Aeromotive has a new inline FMU for returnless fuel systems... It is basically a fuel pump and a voltage controller. This essentially does the same thing an rising rate FPR does, but electronically instead of mechanically. I am still trying to get pricing...

How so? That may have been before e_andree and so many others got me so bent out of shape. I still try to be nice but in this forum you have to be pretty defensive lately.

    Update: 11-30-05

I had a guy that couldn't wait for results get the kit for his 04 CE Corolla. He said the Turbo/Manifold and intercooler piping fitment was an issue. But all together the install cost $1000. So all in all it might have cost $200 - $350 for the shop to make the changes needed for the kit to fit. I am trying to get pics and a more detailed answer.

I am still waiting on the customer with the 02. Hopefully this will be more of a bolt in situation.

Future plans are to work with both customers to get the info to TSI and their fabricator so that they can work these problems out and get us a better kit.

    Stay tuned.

Hahhahaha! I need to hunt around the web and see if anyone has the protocol spec for the emanage so I can write an interface around it :) Then I could make cool stuff pop up on my CarPC based on sensor data :) I could even make it talk!

"Jerry, Your oil temp has exceeded maximum parameters"
"Jerry, Your hitting mad boost yo'"
    "Jerry, You just exceeded 100mph"

    That would so own!

    or

"Jerry, your wife is going to be pissed if she finds out what your doing"
"Jerry, This is a corolla, not a corvette!"
"Jerry, you are in Po Po infested waters", I could use one of those online speed trap databases and my GPS to pull this off ;)

    The possibilities are endless!

Today my friend installed my Guage Pilar after he finished the prep work and painting. I still dont have my oil pressure guage yet but it turned out badass! We start the actual turbo install tomorrow, I'm going to take some really high resolution pictures of that portion of the install.
