    I'm going 2zzge with 6 speed ? If I don't for some reason. Then I'll go turbo.

I heard that you get most out of revs with the 3 speed auto. lmao You can smoke a stock k20 with that transmission.

The head emission guys in Georgia Clean Air Force, said that the corolla's Jdm motors are possible but they are not worth it, especially on OBD2 cars.

Well if you don't have to drive on the freeway or care about gas mileage you could do a three speed lol

Experimenting with the 1zzfe before going 2zzge. :naughty:

I just scored a free sc12 supercharger from a junkyard. It came from an mr2 with a knocking 4agze. The cons: the supercharger is dirty and I still have to find more parts to it. The pros: the supercharger still works like it's new and it only has 2000 miles on it.

Has anyone ever used a Sc12 supercharger on their 1zzfe ? Was it worth it ? How many hp will it give out at 6 psi ? For the 8th gen with 120 or 125 hp ? For the 9th gen with 126 or 130 hp ? And does the supercharger require for you to take the manifold off or can you just bolt it on with turbo pipes and requirements.

    Corolla S with Sc12 supercharger:D

I would think that since the 1zzfe is bigger than the 4agze, it would put out a bit more hp with the compression ratio of 9.6, at 6psi than a stock 4agze at 165 or 170 hp. But than again.... the 4agze still has the GE head. I maybe wrong. And then again... I heard that it will give out at lease 20-30 hp to any motor.

    Your opinions...:)

Is there really such a thing, though?

SC's boost pressure (really displacement vs. engine displacement) is determined by pulley size, and as long as it's within the efficiency range of the SC in terms of flow and that pressure ratio (dunno anything about SC compressor maps), a 6 lb gain can give you probably 160-180 WHP if tuned properly for AFR, timing, and vvt-i.

The engine shots sucked in that video, could not see what was going on at all.

If the SC looks like this:

Then you can run your stock manifold if you can find a good way to drive the SC. You can even intercool it then, but I don't see where it could fit except for in place of the A/C.

It's true, humans have a very narrow range of optimum cycling cadence.

i have a sc14 from a previa laying around. not worth it to put on a 1zz. even with the larger sc14, it will blow hot on the top end. they dont flow as well as the trd kit does. the sc12 blows hot on the top end of a 4age, it would be worse on a larger displacement engine. plus i want to say the crank pulley to blower pulley ratio was all wrong last i checked it. i want to say it was close to a 1:1 ratio, which probably wouldnt produce boost at all.

also, the 4agze's had 2 different compression ratios for boost, 8:1 and 8.9:1. the 8:1 was found in the usdm aw11 supercharged, the rest were ae92 and ae101 supercharged cars. the 1zz has a 10-10.5 (depending on where you look) compression ratio. much higher and would be more prone to knock with higher charge temps.
