Why would you want to do this? Its a waste of money unless your boosted or built n/a revving to at least 8k

Probably need a custom spacer, think "lower intake runners" that has this pattern on the 1ZZ head side (see the three gaskets on top for intake manifold port shape:

And on the 2ZZ IM side, it needs to have this pattern (see the box labeled "Intake") :

As you can see, the runners have a slightly different shape. The smoother you can make this transition, the better your upgrade will be. However, you also need to make the adapter/spacer thing as thin as possible for the best chance at fitment. These two conflicting goals will dictate your adapter/spacer. Longer = smoother transition, but also harder to fit. Shorter = easier to fit, but may cause unwanted turbulence/pressure drop in the manifold.

    HTH,

The guy in the thread below used basically the same method to adapt 4A-GE 20V SilverTop ITBs to his 4A-GE:

it will pick up power, but for the best gains you will need to have a way to tune for it. the spacing is pretty close. i have seen people modify the flange on the 2zz manifold to fit the 1zz, but it will not clear the starter. you have to have about 1/2 taken off of the bottom to clear the starter. this is because the 2zz head is about that much taller than the 1zz head due to the rocker shafts for the VVL system.
