Yeah it seems that way. It also varies by the length and shape of the projector. Not just the projector diameter itself. But you can see in my pic that there is enough room for a bigger projector.

I must say, out of all the forums I'm on, this one has BY FAR the highest proportion of projector retrofits (well except HIDplanet of course lol). Great job guys!

LOL thanks. I like how the 98-00 lights look. a bit more agressive IMO than the 01-02 but the 01-02 has a much nicer bumper and fogs. I have wanted to combine them for about 5 years now, well since i got my corolla. i have seen people talking about it but found someone who did it. it looks awesome and ill be able to keep my blackhousing projectors,. YEA! ill find the pics of it in a second.. i saved them. lol

Which is amazing since we only have 5 members! That IS even higher than HIDplanet!

I know what you mean. The 8.0 front end looks great when done properly, like yours. But IMO, the 01-02 bumper is too "big" looking for the 98-00 head lights.

It seems like us Corolla guys are more into doing appearance/suspension mods than performance mods.

Well it helps that that car doesn't have the full chrome fog lights, making them look small.

I think it's that lip that is making it too off balance.

yep. and i do care about performance. almost the first mod i ever did to this car was a c60 swap. it made a huge difference. i just want to have a clean daily driver. thats all. im no where near being clean yet, IMO of course. i want that front bumper, it just looks good. plus it will fit nicely with an intercooler in the lower grill.

I'd like a c60. I'm trying to get the Europe 8th gen c162. It has a 0.682 instead of the 0.725 6th gear. It still has the 4.5 final drive. Hard to find though :/

NO WAY! I was just telling :km: on the other forum that I think the PERFECT look is this right here.... 8.5 front end with GTEC lip, S side skirts, and rear mudflaps!

cbass, make one and ill buy it. and i have another damaged c60, it suffered from a damaged ring and pinion and a broken bellhousing. but on newcelica.org there is a guy selling a 4.53 final ring and pinion for 150. if i find a good bellhousing in a local junkyard ill rebuild it and put it up for cheap.

i do love that look, but for me it needs trd sides, trd rep rear valences and lip spoiler and 8.0 headlights.
    Added: Feb 11, 2013 5:27 AM
and these with some celica gts brakes under them, front and rear, wrapped in 225/45r16 dunlop direzza 2's

I think if you're gonna have a hybrid bumper it needs to be the 8.0 headlights and grille. That primered one looks weird with the 8.5 grille between the 8.0 lights.

i couldnt find any. i have been cross referencing part numbers to come up with 00-05 celica fronts and 94-99 celica gts rears. im just going to run the corresponding brakes since i have new 00-05 gts calipers and all already. i plan on doing the conversion here soon, so ill take plenty of pics. its looking like it will be close to a bolt on affair.

I have the part numbers for a Euro Corolla with a rear disk setup. But that's only 4 lug so I guess that doesn't help lol
